very pretty magazine, with many creative ideas for crafts and cooking. I wish the recipes were less meat - centered for those of us who are vegetarians.

Has improved a lot

I've been a subscriber for at least 10 years, and have to say that recently the magazine is getting much better. The articles cover a wide range of topics--everything from personal care to gardens to cooking--and have become more user friendly. Martha used to be the queen of overly-difficult recipes and way-too-intricate projects, and while there still are a few of those, most of the features are more within the average persons reach. As always the photography and layouts are superb. Overall the magazine is full of interesting ideas.
